Always try to place it on a solid surface. If you are still used to sitting on the couch or in bed and surfing the net or playing games, it is recommended to have a stand or a cooler so as not to “suffocate” it. Especially in winter, if you have a habit of putting it on a blanket.
Don’t forget to clean it at least once every 3 months. Buy a spray with compressed air and you can clean it a little without removing it. Clean the keyboard after blowing it with spray and a slightly damp cloth (preferably a disinfectant solution that you can find in almost any store or if you want you can get a special one – but in my opinion it doesn’t make much sense). You can wipe the monitor just like you wipe the keyboard, or with the wipes for glasses – it’s often more convenient for me because having glasses I always have wipes to clean.

TopMate C5 Laptop Cooling Pad 10-15.6 ″
The TopMate C5 Laptop Cooling Pad has a design that prevents the laptop from slipping. It has a structure made of aluminum, plastic and metal mesh.
Equipped with a built-in 2.1 audio system and thus has two stereo speakers and subwoofer. The response frequency is 180Hz / 15Khz, the sensitivity is 450 mV, and as dimensions: the two tweeters are 52 mm each and the subwoofer is 57 mm.
It has a single 140 mm fan with a rotation speed of 700-1100 rpm. But you can control the fan speed. Maxim makes noise up to 21bBA. The air flow is 47.35 m³ / min.

2. Also from DeepCool is the GAMMAXX 400 White cooler. Made of plastic and metal, the design makes it extremely easy and adjustable. You can keep it flat directly on the desk or if you are used to it being higher, you can raise it up to 9 degrees and it still keeps its stability. Adjusting the angle is very easy due to the wide and quite resistant supports that you can “handle” easily and without care.
It has four fans that provide cooling on the entire surface, both where the video card is and where you have the hard drive. Of course, you can choose to leave all four fans on, only the two lower fans on or the 2 upper fans on. Or if you want to stop them all, but I don’t see why you would do that. It is quite quiet for how many fans it has and the maximum speed is 1000 rpm. The maximum noise is 24 dBA. The air flow is 121.4 m³ / min.
You can find it for about $18 here . At this price it is even a very good laptop cooler, especially since you usually have an income that beats directly in the place where the cooler draws air.
3. If you are looking for a cheaper cooler for your laptop, you can also look at an Cooler Master Hyper for only $43. It is made of durable metal and plastic and has six fans measuring 80x80x10 mm. The maximum fan rotation speed is 1500 rpm. Thanks to the front control buttons you can adjust the rotation and watch it on the digital display.
It has two USB ports. The height is adjustable and does not slip off the cooler. In addition, you have lighted fans. The light intensity increases with increasing rotation.
Laptop cooler 17
Cooler Master NotePal XL is made of durable plastic and metal mesh. It has three USB 2.0 ports, is powered by mini-USB and laptops up to 17 ”fit pretty well on it.
It has a single fan and the noise produced during operation is only 19 dBA. Quite quiet. The air flow is 89.8 m³ / min and the maximum rotation speed is 1000 rpm.
If you always carry it with you with your laptop, you will carry an extra weight of less than a kilogram because its weight is only 850 grams. You can find it here for $50.
2. Also for 17 ″ is the DeepCool Multi Core X8 cooler which is made of metal and aluminum. Don’t slip your laptop off. It has two USB 2.0 ports.
It has four fans of 10 cm each with a maximum rotation speed of up to 1300 rpm. The fans constantly push heat in four different directions .
Above the fans, the design features four panels of aluminum grilles that help dissipate heat more efficiently. The air flow is 53.4 m³ / min.
The noise level is up to 23 dB. If you still feel too much cooling or too much noise, the stand can work in four different ways.
You can choose to have four fans on, only the two upper fans on or only the two lower fans on. Of course, you can turn off all the fans if you don’t want to catch a cold and you can only use it as a stand.

What do I choose? A cooler with a big fan or more and smaller?
First of all, you have to keep in mind that the simple fact that you ‘lift’ the laptop on a cooler pad, it will have more space at the bottom to draw air. So it’s better already. In some cases, there are differences in temperature and simple placement on the cooler pad vs desk.
Ideally, one of the cooler fans should beat near or where the laptop is breathing. For example, on some laptops this place is in the upper left corner, as you look at the back of the laptop.
But usually a cooler pad with 1 large fan brings enough air to the back of the laptop for it to receive more and cooler air.
The important thing is to choose something of quality, and to use it. I often use the cooler pad as a stand, and when it comes to gaming or an application that gives it more work, I turn on the cooler pad.
It is worth mentioning that, often for cheaper models, there is a risk that more fans will mean more chances of defects. A faulty cooler that makes more noise than necessary (damn :-))) is horrible and you don’t even want to turn it on. So don’t skimp if you don’t want additional stress for $10 savings.
